An extremely talented and prolific filmmaker and a winner of numerous awards, Bahrudin “Bato” Čengić wrote and directed many features, documentaries, short films and television series such as “Playing Soldiers” (1967), “The Role of My Family in the World Revolution” (1971), “Heads or Tails” (1983) and “Silent Gunpowder” (1990). ?engi? was born on January 7, 1931 in Maglaj, Bosnia and Herzegovina and died on October 16, 2007 in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He was schooled in Belgrade and Paris.
