Film Synopsis:

A well-to-do family in Bosnia welcomes back a beloved daughter from studying abroad, along with her new Italian boyfriend, in this laugh-out loud funny film about generational clashes. A joyous reunion commences--but after after the father notices a new tattoo on his daughter’s back, things start to get weird. Why can a father no longer look his child in the eye? What secrets is this seemingly happy family hiding? Once they are revealed, can the erosion of close-knit family ties be reversed?


Director's Biography

Born in Srebrenica in 1986, Ado Hasanović is a Rome-based film director. Between 2008 and 2011 he served as the Creative Director of the Srebrenica Short Film Festival. He studied directing at the Sarajevo Film Academy, graduating in 2013. In 2015, he began working for the Mediterranean Short Film Festival, where he served as Art Director. His short films Angel of Srebrenica, Blue Viking in Sarajevo, Mum, and Breath of Life Srebrenica have been shown at international film festivals and have won various awards.
